Lateral Flow Testing - Onsite Testing Completed!

From January 2021 Montsaye Academy set up a Lateral Flow Test Centre to test consenting staff and children in our key worker and vulnerable provision for COVID-19.

On 8th March 2021, when other students started returning to school, tests were offered to them too. In line with government guidance, all students were invited to have 3 tests here. Now that all have been offered 3 tests, our temporary testing centre has closed.

We were exceptionally pleased with the smooth process and how well our staff stepped up to the challenge of learning the necessary skills and systems to run the centre while putting our students at ease, as they too learned all about the lateral flow tests.

Students were calm and sensible, meaning that the process was slick and quick, with staff involved receiving recognition and thanks for their efforts from the Chair of Governors, Angela Lloyd and CEO of Pathfinder Schools Trust, Ann Davey.

Staff have been offered packs so they too can test at home.
