Swimming Pool
Our swimming pool is 20 metres in length and 7 metres wide. It has a depth of 0.9 metres at the shallow end, increasing to 1.8 metres at the deep end. We run a variety of sessions including; general swimming, fun and floats, adult/lane, 50+ swims and ladies only.
In addition, the swimming pool is used for a variety of other activities. These include, swimming lessons, rookie lifeguarding, aqua aerobics and pool parties.
We host a number of local primary schools for school swimming provision. We offer exclusive hire of the facility with no members of the public on site. If your school would like to enquire about using the facility, please contact us via - sportscentre@montsayesportsandfitness.co.uk
The swimming pool is available for use all year round. We are available to both members and pay-as-you-go users. Please click the link below for the current pool timetable for specific session times.
Under 8’s Policy
Due to the hazards associated with a swimming pool, Montsaye Community Sports Centre operates the following admission policy.
Children under 8 years old must be accompanied by a parent/guardian or adult (aged 16 or over) and supervised in the pool by that adult at all times.
Under 8s Swimming policy: 1 adult can supervise up to 2 children under the age of 8 years, providing weak and non-swimmers wear an approved flotation device and stay within the non-swimmer line.
Disabled Access
The centre has a portable pool hoist available for use at the shallow end of the pool. All staff are trained on the use of this. We also provide a separate disabled changing area and ample parking spaces on site.
